Hi! My name is Max Meyers, and I am an Atlanta-based filmmaker and film producer. I am interested in film producing and overall creative production, as well as film festivals, distribution, exhibition, analysis, and related business operations. With passion leading my film interests, I love meeting new people and working with like-minded creatives. At heart, I’m good-spirited with a positive-attitude no matter the conditions, reliable and always on time, used to high-pressure/long-hour work environments, organized and very good with money, and a proactive problem-solver.

I graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with minors in Film Studies and Marketing (also completing the requirements for the Honors College).

I’ve had various work/internship experiences in the industry, from film festivals and programming to film distribution and producing. I’ve also worked on a variety of short film and video productions, taking up roles in producing, camera department, and overall production assistance. I’ve also done various freelance photography/videography for organizations/individuals.

Beyond that, I love playing tennis, ultimate frisbee, and the piano when I can. Some of my favorite music artists are The Strokes and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and I’m an avid Blu-ray collector (forever growing). Some (but certainly not all) of my favorite movies are: Before Sunrise (and the entire Before trilogy), The Red Shoes, Blow Out, Wings of Desire, Her, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Do the Right Thing, Challengers, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
